Banish To The Past

The pounding leave marks

On my pale fair skin

Black and blue the hue

As the blows reign in

But what of my fellow man

Whose skin is golden brown

Those with skin of black

The degradation that they face

Unable to fight back

Their colour a disadvantage

In this privileged white world

Where is the justice

Without which there’ll be no peace

For those considered for to long

To be biologically inferior

Even lower than the beasts

Is it to much to ask

That we now can at last

Live side by side as equals

And banish racism to the past
