That they claim they want to save

About the people they claim to serve
Of the people facing poverty
Decisions destroying their worth
I wonder if they really care
That the decisions they are taking
Are leaving people in despair

As they pontificate their politicking
About the people of this country
Who are struggling and suffering

As tens of thousands die

As they continue to lie
