The views, thoughts and opinions of an insignificant speck in the Universe đŸ˜€

On One November Mourn

They lie in quiet repose

Side by side in stillness

In row by row by row

In their very own place on earth

A final resting place

No distinction now

Between friend and foe

There duty done

There lives have run

Taken before their time

The result of wars

Headstones of white

Mark the spot

Where heroes sleep alone

And come the hour

On a November morn

I’ll stand with pride

Alongside those who survived

Standing in our own silent repose

Row by row by row

Remembering fallen comrades

Who fell so long ago

Giving thanks for the lives

For which they sacrificed
