Reflect

Reflection of Failure of Government prison policies

Reflection of Failure of Government prison policies

With only 245 prison places available in the system how an earth can successive Governments claim that they have or have had policies to address rehabilitation and preventing re-offending?

Reflect

It started small time

When I was so young

Bullying at school

I felt I belonged

When the judge made it clear

I was being sent down

I discovered the truth

That I was alone

The reflection in the mirror

Is my on;y friend

Flashbacks of yesterday

Come to me now and then

Inside prison walls

The reflection must change

I’m scared of the future

A fear of the unknown

I have to survive

I need to go home
