The views, thoughts and opinions of an insignificant speck in the Universe 😀

WISHING

WISHING

Prison-Life

There is a time for wishing

I do it every night

As I look out through the bars

Up at the moon so bright

I wish that I was out there

Underneath the stars

I wish this cell would disappear

And release me from the scars

I wish that time would hurry by

Until the day that I’ll be free

I wish I had the strength

To know that I won’t return

But I know that wishes don’t come true

So that will never be.
